This salute is from LT John Miyahara to his friend LCDR Tracy Vissia.
Tracy and I were stationed at COMNAVRESFORCOM (Navy Reserve Force HQ) in New Orleans. In January she was assigned to Afghanistan. Tracy is now serving in Afghanistan with US Navy and Army troops and is helping local governments develop basic government infrastructure and other various humanitarian projects.
Tracy has been serving the Navy for over 15 years. She is a dedicated sailor who has served the USN in about every imaginable assignment. Tracy also has a great gift to relate to many different people in a sincere and outgoing manner. Everyone I know really loves her. Tracy is a great friend and is committed to helping Afghanistan build services for all of her people.

This salute is from Aprille Caesar to her husband Mark Caesar. Their anniversary was this past Sunday.
Staff Sergeant Mark A. Caesar, Jr. is stationed at Langley Air Force Base, VA to the 1st Contracting Squadron.
Due to his professionalism, he has been awarded the Joint Meritorious Unit Award and has earned the Joint Commendation Medal. He has been awarded; Airman of the Quarter, NCO of the Quarter, a leadership award and Distinguished Graduate award.
Sergeant Caesar will deploy again to the United Arab Emirates next month.
He has been married to his college sweetheart, Aprille Caesar, for 10 years. Together they have a daughter, Destinee Caesar and a son, Anthony Caesar.
Sergeant Caesar listens to Robin everyday while going to work. He says jokingly, "Ask her if I can have a T-Shirt or something like a coffee mug." Perhaps he's looking for a souvenir to take on his deployment.
Thanks so much. We LOVE HLN!! Hopefully he'll see this before he deploys. =)

LCPL Jonathan Cole Rudder was just deployed to Afghanistan on May 10, 2009 We are very proud parents and his entire family loves and misses you very much!!
He has always been a good-hearted young man who has always been ready to volunteer to help anyone in need. He was very proud to have been an explorer in our Local City Fire Department when he was in school and a volunteer with our area county fire department before joining the marine corps. We are so very proud of him and our other troops who are serving and protecting our country. We hope everyone will pray for him and all of the troops.

My husband and I got married in August of 2008 and two weeks later he was deployed to Iraq. His name is John Crabtree.
I miss him and we want him home so bad. We got to see him March of last year for 2 weeks on R & R but I believe that made all of us miss him more. I’m very proud of my husband and I can’t wait for him to come home in August of this year. John’s birthday is on the 26th.

Yesterday we ran a very emotional salute from a woman who can't wait till her boyfriend is "out of the war zone." Have a look below.
My name is Santana Jackson and I am saluting is my boyfriend Specalist Doug Thompson.
My boyfriend is currently deployed in Iraq in the United states Army at Camp Speicher and Stationed in Fort Drum, New York.
This is his second deployment overseas. He is such a remarkable intelligent man and nothing leaves you more anxious and distraught then being away from someone you love.
I miss you baby and can't wait to see you, stay safe.

Jeffrey is a wonderful father to our 3 children - Bailey six years old, Logun two years old, and Haylee one year old - he is an amazing husband, and most importantly he is our hero.
He is the proud son of Jeff and Eva Mills of Pennsville, New Jersey, and wonderful brother to Thomas Mills. He is a PV2 and his job is an 88m, truck driver. We are proud to stand behind him and support him through his tour of duty with the United States Army.
He is scheduled home for R&R (Rest and Relaxation) at the end of May for 15 days and our 1 year anniversary is June 16th.
My husband is currently serving in Iraq on his first tour. Our children and I miss him so much and cannot wait for him to be home. But we are proud to say he is a great father and a wonderful soldier.
