One day closer to being in each other's arms

I would like to salute my boyfriend SGT Kenneth Rivera of 1ST Infantry Division, 41ST Engineers out of Fort Riley, Kansas. He is currently serving our country in Afghanistan. This is his third deployment.

Baby, I just want to tell you that I am so proud of you for everything you are doing and for the accomplishments you've already made. I admire and respect you for all of your sacrifices, your hard work and dedication, and for being a strong leader. You have all of my support and you are always in my thoughts and prayers.

I love you and miss you so much, Kenneth. I can't wait for you to come back home and you know I will be waiting with open arms. Every day that passes is one day closer to us being in each other's arms again.

Your family and I want you to know that we are always thinking of you, we love you, we miss you, and we await your safe return.
