Salute to Col. Robert Taylor

Posted: 08:04 AM ET

Big thanks to iReporter Chris Morrow who shot this salute while attending an event at the USS Ronald Regan in San Diego.

The salute is from Kristin Taylor a Nebraska cheerleader in honor of her father Army Colonel Robert Taylor who is currently deployed to Iraq.

Congratulations Bob, (sir), on your advancement to Colonel. You were a fine officer as a Lt. and I'm sure you are just as much as a high ranking field commander. Best of luck and Thank You for your service!!!

I am looking for my old boss, Robert J. Taylor. I worked for him in 1990-91 in Germany when he was a Captain and I was a lieutenant. He was from Nebraska and had two young daughters. I am wondering if Kristin is one of his daughters and is now in college back in his home state of Nebraska. Any advice on how I can reach Robert Taylor would be appreciated.
