It seems that usually salutes come from Mothers to Children, or wives to husbands... but it's pretty rare that we get a salute from kids to their deployed mother! Here's what Britany Summers has to say on iReport about her Army mom: My mother is a 1LT in the United States Army and currently is deployed, she is a Bridge Engineer and has been in the army since I can remember. She is a wonderful mother of 5 children, 16-year-old twin girls Katlyn and Kayla, 20-year-old twin boys Tim and Kourtney and me Britany im 22 years old and she also has two grandkids by me, 3-year-old Dayana and 1-year-old D'Mtri that miss their grandma very much. She has been married my dad 1LT Michael Currier for almost 18 years and she is a very hard-working dedicated woman, mother, wife, and soldier. We miss her so much and we want to let her know that we are proud of her, we think about her all the time and we are all constantly counting down the days until she comes home.
